it'll spool a little gradually at first, then at a certain point it will begin to spool much faster.

it will spool even faster if you don't use a gate.

Dude, you know a Holset turbo is made for diesels, right? It won't work right on a gas engine, they're completely different. Diesel exhaust is so much different than gasoline, and your gas motor won't spool it for shit. And if it does, it will DESTROY the turbo. It won't last 500 miles. You're better off selling it to some ricer and buying a Precision, or Garrett GT. You also know that those shitty Holsets are journal bearing, not BALL bearing. Ask any racer, any REAL racer. Ball bearing is the way to go, for power and durability.

You'll blow the welds on your intake manifold, then tear the block apart to replace the piston rings you'll have fried.

and do NOT get the diamond plate floorboards. They're all hype. I saw one fail at over 140 mph (car used to only top out at 140, but he added naws), it probably hit some bystander in the jugular. The guy was a trooper though, he never let out of the throttle, even with his car falling apart.

also, protip: DO NOT race Johnny Tran for slips. He's got more than 100 grand under the hood of that car.

Take a picture of it, I'll be able to tell you a little more about it. I would say you will start making full power below 5k, probably around 4k +/- 500 depending on the hotside. Beautiful little turbo that will make more power than your motor will hold, sounds sexy as fuck and hits hard starting around 1 bar

don't forget I need nawsss the two big bottles. so I can win by a inch or a mile cause winning is winning

I have an 18cm h1c on my lsvtec and its not bad. would rather have a 12 or 14cm on it.

From most accounts, the h1c is a bit laggier than the HX35. I know on a b16 the hx35 will get you boost by 5k, and a solid 10psi by ~5500. So figure a bit lower for a gsr. A 12cm housing would give you a decent powerband, but an 18cm may net better times at the strip. The 21cm would probably be too big for a sub-2.0L motor, at least concerning drag times.

around when does your lsv really start to make boost and pull? decient dd?

plans are to slap this turbo on and finaly have it tuned to about 15 psi I have head studs in the motor so it should be pretty safe. looking for a bare minimum of 300whp dd and 350 for track days which don't happen to often.
