Title: Ghetto charge pipe

My friend and I had a nice drunk night at the comedy club and while at the bar he was saying how he wanted cheap charge pipe i told him pvc glue it together and put drywall screws in the joints and jbweld over them has anyone tried this? I tried pvc before but it always blew apart.

Ya!  It works good.....  Make sure you breath in the fumes when it starts to melt.....   :evil:

Skip the screws.  Just use the right dope for the pipe.  The burst pressure for 2.5" sch.40 is like 850 psi...

I used to build swimmin pools and we had to pressure the main drain system to 60psi before the concrete got poured so i would say you are safe without the screws. Also use the clear glue and it wont look as shitty

i used pvc with no issues on my first 4 motors i put in my civic, i used that good smelling yellow glue

The only downside to pvc is that its way too baller

i think fowee's charge piping kit was a lot better.
