1 Hockey puck per side , I just pressed it in with the vice and some WD40, they were in there tight as hell , but for added security I drilled a few small holes in the top on each side and put rivets in them...
and thats my cheap ass GRM motor mount...

I like that I may have to try that eventhough my window weld urethane filled are holding up pretty good so far. ;D
-
I'll give it a try. At least you don't need to wait for the urethane to dry out.

A friend of mine just did this weeks ago, loves it. Best part is he got the hockey pucks for free from a friend who had ~20 left in his car when he bought it, so his entire cost was $0
-
I just did my engine mount for my evo 2. Perfect size with no cutting required :noel:. My pucks were 4$ each. Thanks for a great write up!
-
my rear mount, been on 3 cars and ~50,000+ mi so far

Piiiiimp
I need a torch

Piiiiimp
I need a torch
I found it was quicker to use a flat blade screw driver and a hammer to chissil it out, then use the torch to burn whats left. I still managed to set the workshop smoke detector off lol.
-
I still need a torch though. I used a drill, chisel, screw driver, hole saw......... fuck that liquid shit inside the driver side mounts....... gross shit in there
-
U don't need a real torch, just propane $5 crap.
-
I would want to use a little polyurethane in there with the hockey pucks to glue them in/together. It would serve as your lubrication to slide the pucks in there too, and dry up solid as FUCK.
-
been using them on my tercel for all 3 mounts for over a year not just like t_cel_t he's the one who gave me the idea with a wrieup he posted on tercelonline. they work great.

I am going to be doing 3 more mounts this weekend. Will post up more pics. i think i am going to fill the centers with Poly as suggested.
