Okay so that other thread I deleted because I had to figure out somewhere to put my pictures that'd play nice with the forum. At one time I was doing some Honda build stuff and was on the OG Jeff site as FooK.
These days I'm building and racing this, my 1991 GMC Syclone:

Bought this thing just over a year ago, fixed a million things that were in chaos, tossed on a 6266 and threw in some e85. I managed to build it to a point of running an 11.37 @ 114mph losing a spark plug 1/2 way thru the pass.
Since then, Holley EFI install and the new found power I was able to make after sorting through more issues it chewed up my 700r4. Now I've installed a th350 and I'm waiting for spring to arrive for more racing. Some more pictures just for fun.

Dyno was right after Holley install, had some ignition troubles and was down on power quite a bit.

I just got done puttin a th350 in it. Transbrake, manual rev. Vb, ck performance mechanical diode. It might have to go to a 4L80E just because I may need more mph.

Hmmm build thread?

The green one in that photo was about $15k out of California with about 50k miles on it. I see rough ones come around $5-8k once in a while.
This one is currently getting a L33 5.3 with a big single, want to say a 7875, and a 4L80e. Should be pretty fast when its done.

I've sent some decent typhoons for around 10k every once in a while
Then I see ones that are fucked up for the same price lol
I like the truck. Im a big swb fan
I've soured on getting loans on nice cars I hate paying and last couple people have hit and run me and I had to pay to fix out of pocket but I'd like to get a short box GM or Dodge truck. I like GMC better
I regret getting rid of my 76 swb

I actually want to get rid of the Silverado, its just too mich cashflow out the pocket each month. Very niche group of buyers tho.

Yeah I hear ya
You hardly see them at dealerships
I see more Dodge ones than anything
I'd like one as long as it was new enoguh for the 8 speed

I'm curious too! Making some more changes right now in the rear shock area.
I am concerned with my top speed ability. Might be 125mph-ish. It'll go 10's on 118mph or so tho.

Man thats super clean! I only see rusted out buckets around here for 13k+
