More progress on the manifold. All that's left is mounting the fuel rail and making gaskets for the idle controller.

I got the y pipe all welded while I had some free time



Going to try and finish everything tomorrow

got the passenger side header on, and got the o2 extensions on.

whoever thought it was a good idea to put the o2 sensor plugs on top of the transmission with little to no slack in the wiring should be kicked in the nutz

the oil dipstick was kinda a pita to put back in

going pretty smoothly though none of the bolts were even remotely like they were stuck in the head, the gaskets looked new so maybe it leaked before

i fabbed up a y pipe, its tac welded. i'm going to weld it together tonight need to take a break

Got some long tubes for Christmas attempting to put them on.

I have to fab my own y pipe

I cut off the flange and doing it LS1 style with band clamps

I machined up some offset fuel injector cups to make the manifold perfectly match the fuel rail. Offsetting them .5mm didn't seem like it would do much but they are all 97mm on center now. The offset was easy enough, I machined the ID, loosened the chuck, put in a 0.5mm feeler gauge, machined the OD.

People who don't know anything need simple terms to explain the builds they don't do. That's why retards say shit like stage 1. Make your own "stages" like stage 1 is stock cam with rod and piston, stage 2 has the mod2 cam, stage 3 has your good cam and call it something stupid lol. That's awesome you're making a build video.

someone bought the motor i made lol. im going to made two more expect this time with a MOD2 cam.

the mod2 cam for whatever reason is the thing all the youtubers kept making videos about so everyone think its great, even though they suck compared to the cam i made the first two with.

going to see if having "mod2" in it makes it sell easier.

the mod2 cam is basically a stock cam with only longer duration lol

also i can make it a little bit cheaper cause there is a piston/rod kit that sells with springs enough for it

i'm also going to record myself building the motor so people looking at the ad can watch it being built lol i thought it was cool

busy Saturday progress. now i need to pull everything off the tuck to position the new stuff to make the runners.

So far I have seen zero holes, no inclusions or porosity. I'm pretty stoked. I figured there would be something after doing over a 3/4" build up.

You might want to make a scatter shield just in case. or get some sweet greaves and sabatons to ride in.
