yeah ive seen people that do that but its kinda a PITA. you have to add a battery too with a little electric pump is what most ppl seem to do.
never thought about a manual pump
it seems like the gear oil is working pretty well

What about using a little standalone sump and pump like a chainsaw bar oiler that runs off the crank. You could use a cheap harley oil cooler as the sump/cooler

i took the grease out and put in some gear oil and it works better, turbo spins easier and you can hear it now more.
its just a wierd thing because sometimes it'll go up to 8psi sometimes i can't get it to go over 4, not sure. i think maybe this turbo just doesn't work right i guess we'll see how the new one works not sure. |

the carb really kills the sound out of the turbo but you can hear it a little bit, and a little bit out of the exhaust but nothing really cool.
the "high temp grease" doesn't seem to work for long term, after a while of riding it gets too hot and one of the fins on the compressor or exhaust wheel hits the housing... im not sure what else i could try to put in it, maybe gear oil? something that can stand the heat. this turbo also might be a shit one, i guess A LOT of these turbos are bad out of the box. they're like old school CHY NA turbos. i bought another one same exact one, and might just return this one if the new one doesn't have any problems. im also thinking about building a built stroker motor that can rev higher and create more exhasut to spin the turbo. building a motor like these is really cheap honestly probably less than $500 to have a built motor |

It actually works only hits 8psi at high rpm but usually 6 though midrange
The bov didn't work, it was just leaking air out I had to take it off |

Put a bike rack in the bed of the truck. It needed to be elevated up on the fender cause my RIPMO is longer than the bed.
