I still talk to him, he’s still grinding everyday. Moved out of bc to OaklahomaWhat equipment do you have / have access too? Types of machining ? CNC, lathe, laser, etc? Oklahoma, may have to pay a visit, if I can get a hold of him. |

Have my transmissions swapped and everything bolted up wcu changed and everything but the speedometer isnt working. Does anyone know the wiring to make this work or have a diagram that tells you what wires go where? Any help would be appreciated thanks dude you really should make new threads for your specific issues with all the details... unless you are walter how would we know how to begin to help you. Im gonna tell you we are a very small group of knowledgeable friends and even though its possible for new people to be let in we are very cautious and try to filter out the people that are idiots, i dont want to say you are an idiot but you are very close to meeting the wednesday hammer. |

I know its probably a stupid question, but what do you think would be better for a 4 branch, mild steel or stainless ? Been reading the recent posts about manifolds cracking and what not and wondered if a mild steel one would be better. Im assuming mild is softer than stainless ? Just wondered if it could cope with the vibration / heat stress better as it is slightly more flexible. Again with replying old posts ![]() For lower cost use mild steel, use thick walls and good wire/rod for the material. For cheap log manifolds, search on here some excellent ideas. Seen people use weld els, plumbing pipe, fence posts, and the like. Main thing is use supports/braces, think about the weight of turbo, wastegates and flanges hanging about brace help cut cracking done to a minimum. |
