That's your 120-130ish IQ speaking.

Inexperience, actually. Like I said previously, I've built about or less than 20 engines total. Nowhere near the level of some of you guys, which is why I am here.
But I would like to know what I am not seeing. Is that shiny spot above (in the pic) the piston p2w clearance (or canyon), making it out of round? Or (more likely) am I completely off base?

Also looks to be sitting to low in the cylinder in relation to the piston next to it. Which would cause that light shining through that I mentioned above.

At least you don't have this guy's problem.

Looks about like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

;D  Only car motor I've ever built.  This is what bad machining looks like.  When I put the pistons in they were almost that bad.  Machinist said "Oh well I called CP and bored to their specs."  See all the black shit on everything?  I forgot to put the dowels in the head when I put it together...

60k miles later this is what you have, gentlemen...  I cleaned the surfaces off last night, took some hours and my fingernails are all fucked up.  JD says to hit is with some rubber finger doohickey.

Basically I've had a blown headgasket and wallowed out bores for 60k miles and it has taken every bit of it.  40 of that has been boosted.  This is how you build motors, sirs.

I suspected a head gasket issue, but wasn't really sure. At least I got the wallowed out bores from that pic

Yeah head gasket was non existent.  I mean it was there, it just had black shit caked all over it.  Maybe the lack of dowel pins had something to do with that?  LOL

That's not a p2w issue, thats a pistons-too-small-for-the-bore issue. Or the machinist is just a complete idiot.
