Chris i am not arguing the facts with you. I used to be an all motor guy and know how important 2hp is and how important it is to make power as high as you can rev.

I just don't understand why they would go through all the trouble to do this test and not let off the gas at the same rpm.

Are you thinking were the power dropped off BADLY????

Who is to say that isn't weak valve springs. The run order of the headers, say Bisi first, might have lead to the others dropping off sooner. Notice the fall off in power happens sooner on each test, valve springs are toast!

Also, was the engine retuned for each header? If not this test has no merit. It could have been tuned for the best header and then the others slapped on for testing.

Valve float, D15B7, OEM springs with 200k miles, Crane 251-0016 cam......



And before you wankers get your panties in a bunch, I'm trying to be neutral here. Yes I've chatted with Bisi in person about these ideas over 5 years ago, even about QC and getting too big to where QC suffers, which leads to Customer Service getting overwhelmed and "it all falls down".....

I can't stand the guy either, but you guys are all acting like the other headers made a lot more power than his.

Let's be real here, it only made 2 whp less while costing $1100 while prone to cracking while of obvious chinese origin.

There are clone headers that make more and don't crack, sorry.

       Each header was tuned, so it wasn't a just throw it on and see whats up kinda deal. Kenny, the guy who tuned them is a good friend but also a competitor of mine that is a very smart guy.  He didn't do this test to bash any product. He's done a bunch of tests with all kinds of parts, Intake manifolds, intakes, etc etc.  We spoke about this for some time last night, and you can clearly tell the Bisi header makes less up top  just from the fuel map.   Theres nothing wrong with the valve springs,  the power went right back up when the other header was put back on.

         I don't know bisi, and do have a level of respect for him, but all of his products ive personally seen haven't worked up to the marketing and hype around them, esp when you consider the price difference between them.  I feel sorry for the poor smucks that buy his BS.    There should be a difference between an $1100 header and one made by a 14yr girl in a sweat shop.

The lower powerband shift is a function of the primary length, which is why Bisi made a "bundle of snakes" so he could fit a longer primary length with a decent collector length and still fit into factory location. Due to all the stupid bends he has to use a larger diameter piping to overcome the loss of flow from all the twists and turns.

Uh, dunno how I missed this, but I was vicariously introduced to the guy that made the v1 Bisi header.  And his name's not Bisi.

Its a stock bottom end h22,  pro 1 cams.  Ported p13 IM with 4 to 3.5 intake pipe. Its in a gutted to hell eg that runs 11.5@ 115-116

thats it? Pretty Simple. Makes sense why they werent revving that high now.

Guys buying a custom built header in n/a is worth the money if you even remotely give a shit about your build. It is seriously identical in relation to the price people spend on turbo manifolds / set ups. So......

Plus just be happy you don't have a v8, $2000+ for custom headers is pretty normal. But then again they actually make power n/a.

Fuck that noise lol. I got it for very very cheap, used it for a while and sold it for alot of profit. I'd built my own before I'd spend that on a one. Ebay with collector mod ftw
