Next build ideas
« on: June 10, 2012, 11:03:47 PM »

Im gathering parts for my next build.

Want to do an F22 turbo EG.

Here is what I have so far:
F22A6 (Gonna run the stock motor until it blows since it was free, then put some H22 rods and 4g63 stroker pistons in it.)
LS B-series tranny (Free)
HX52 turbo (kinda big, but I got if for practically free)

Gonna do the ghetto F2B setup with no plate.
I have all the fabrication stuff under control but I need suggestions on nog cheap fuel parts.
What injectors, fuel pump, and ecu program would you guys use for 400whp on E85?

pump: rewired walbro 255hp (good to like 450-500 on E85)
injectors: HiProfile has the hookup on some ~950s  (good to like 450-500 on E85)
management: ask whoever is gonna tune it.

sounds like a good setup... make a build thread! 8)

I agree fully, that is the turbo my car really needs, the 35 is just too small, esp with a T3 housing...

put H head on, and good bottom end parts and crank the fucking boost up!

Oh BTW, i have a set of Eagle H22 rods if you are looking for some...

Yeah hopefully the 52 isn't too laggy. It'll hit like a freight train that's for sure.

This turbo is really awesome though. 67mm and it has a billet wheel. Pretty cool shit.

I'm gonna pass on the eagle rods. I'm trying to get some oczc rods from Tom.
I might just end up running stock F22's though. They're disposable enough. lol

It shouldn't be too laggy, my 16cm hx52 is full boost, (18lb) at around 35-3800... i would guess the 52 would be lit at around 40-4200 on my car... they light pretty quick and make awesome power.

When you're as in demand as Tom is, its hard to make time.
Especially when it means taking a break from a high dollar build to turn out another batch for basically no profit.

It's worth the wait trust me.
