 i recently bought a comp engineering rear frame and 4 link setup used and Im looking for some pointers on how to measure things up for the install  i have a mig welder and weld for a living ( tig) but dont really want to start cutting out my chassis blindly ive made alot of stuff but never anything on this large of a scale. any help greatly apprciated nog logs..

car is an 83 volvo 242 dont think that really matters tho

You're going to want to build some sort of chassis table (a couple straight and square beams with some supports welded between them) this will be your reference point for square and ride height, it also allows you to tack to the table to try different ride / frame heights.

I have done it on a truck with a true frame off of a concrete floor, but it is way more time consuming / frustrating.

yea forsure thats what ive read too about using a chassis table.

basically im looking for a RHMT way of doing this on my side yard...





basically the car is completely taken apart and cant move is there a way to do this in its current state accurately?

6-8 jackstands, a tape measure, a level, some chalk, a plumb bob, and a sharpie.

Are you doing a cage as well? I assume it is a unibody?
