what area is that in? ^

I have an 88 xr200.  13hp, no valve shims, no coolant, fun and simple for a 25 year old bike.  I put on an aluminum swingarm and newer crf250r brakes front and rear and also have ktm 85sx forks and ohlins rear shock to finish installing.

Buy a bike. Then talk. Until then.... Lay in bed all day crying that you cant find a job faggot. Dont worry about what I do, pay your fucking rent, and fix your shitbox.

My thing is I really dont want JUST a 4 stroke.  I want the 2T as well because 2 strokes are a FUCK TON of fun to ride. Period.  If you even TRY to debate it youre about ten times the faggot I thought you were. And thats BAD...  But I cant justify having both.

The 2T motor in a newer frame would be sick as fuck, if you dont get it... I understand.

Kisses

KX 2 T motor in a KX250f frame is pretty fuckin straighforward. I know of a roller too.. It would be perfect.

Anyways. I love the bike OI have. Mitches Husky is nice, saw it today.... Cant wait to go ride!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ridden a 450??  These things will make a 2t 250 look silly.  I definitely understand the 2t thing, i own both, but i wouldn't waste your time on a swap until you find a kx500 motor.  I'm stuck between either picking up a yz490, or an lt500 to build into an old school sand bike/quad

Yup ridden one, cool, fast.... just different... But, Im just still a 2 t oil burning smoke show lover. I couldn't have just the 450 and be happy. Id need the 2t as well... Its just different. I like them too much. I can live fine with JUST the KX and no 450, would like to have both, but if HAD to pick either... Id rather have the 2T, and the 450 Sure as fuck dont make a good running 250 2T look  "silly". Faster yes... Silly? No. NOwhewreer near enough to where ID sell the 250 to have JUST the 4T...

On that note... Updates... Rebuilt the forks... New bushings seals and RACE TECH .48 kg springs... Went up to a 7.5 WT fork oil too... What a difference. Needs a heavier spring in the rear. Can feel it now that the front is right.

When I took the forks apart MAYBE 750 ml of "Fluid" (and I use the term loosely) came out. Spec is around 630 cc EACH LOL... and alot of it was water :O). Seals where done, bushings were really worn. SO the rebuild was definitively due. 1st time doing it. Not that hard. What a difference.

Total into bike: 1000 +- a few bucks with all the new shit. Things fast and runs like a top. Suspension feels SHIT TONS better... Can tell the rear needs  a spring now though... Need to figure out which one to get.

Put some higher 1 1/8" risers on it and KX "HI BEND" pro taper fat bars. Can stand up now without being all hunched over and shit. MUCH better.

Dont want to hear shit about the motor being in pieces on the bench in the background. Got off my ass Saturday and put it together. Waiting on Comp to make my clutch, and get the head back from porting. I have EVERYTHING to put it together.

Lets go riding tomarrow! or this weekend.  I received the last of parts for the wifes banshee so its going to get a trial run this weekend most likely, nothing like a ground up rebuild of a bike that was never maintained and left outside in the weather, looks like a brand new bike now.

Only place a 450 makes a 250 2t look stupid is in the gravel pit. Just picked up a sportsman 800 so I don't have to pack my husky 266xp on my back any more when I go to cut trail.
