Local fab shop got a waterjet so I drew up some brackets for the engine plate and alternator. Didint turn out too bad. Still gotta do a little fitting on the alternator bracket.

Cut the plenum off the manifold and cut out the pieces for the new plenum.

Made some patterns with the laser. Worked pretty slick.

Thanks homies. Kinda torn on how to finish the manifold.

Should I polish it or powder coat it black?

Kinda leaning towards powder coat cause polishing blows....

Power coat sounds easier. Polishing takes forever

Pretty much finished. Gotta weld on a throttle cable mount and the fuel rail mounts.

Yo!! Still working on this. Got a lot done since the last time I posted. Tore some shit in my knee the other day so i'm confined to the couch. Figured i'd update this. Working on the brakes and putting floor pans in it now. Then its off to get body work done. Neighbor guy is a 30 year body guy so I worked out a deal for him to do it.

Prett much everything is identical as planned but ended up swapping the cam after I got it running. It was wayyy too big. Got a custom grind roller setup from Comp. Ended up with more lift but less duration and overlap which is what it needed.

Thanks bro! Taking forever but it is what it I guess. Hard to find time to work on cars these days.

Have to start shopping for wheels now. Probably going to do a 4 link in the rear and I want a wide wheel with lots of negative offset. Hope I don't need to narrow the rear. Never did anything like that before.

This is kinda the look I'm aiming for.

Right! It's an autocross car too. Pretty impressive build out of a place in Pittsburgh.

Really easy. Summit sells a sweet pair of straightening/bending pliers. This is just the 1/4" aluminum they sell. It's almost as cheap as rubber hose.

Just bought some of that Nickel/copper line to do my brake lines. Supposed to be super easy to work with too.
