Just scored a greddy 18g turbo kit for a DOHC Honda.
Came with The greddy turbo that has a t3 flange welded on/sock elbow/dp, an aftermarket vband 3" elbow, brand new ssqv, brand new 35mm Obx wastegate, Godspeed manifold, Godspeed intercooler kit ( new), greddy intercooler, oil lines, fittings, etc etc etc.
It was almost literally highway robbery. It pays to have good friends
Looks like my current kit gets an fmic upgrade for now, and a turbo kit ready for the gsr when it's done.
The flange was welded on by a blind nigger, so I'll grind it down and re weld it properly. Probably gas torch and coat hangers for proper bond. The turbo is in "barely run" condition, slight shaft play which is normal... Definitely not excessive.
What a score
. I may put that turbo on for the short term so I can point at the badge on the turbo to a chp and say "look, it's a greddy kit", and show him my legit original greddy e-o badge I happen to own.
Or I sell the lot and get another
