Also... Droid 2.0 phone on Verizon vs iPhone 3gs on AT&T? Calebs loves the iPhone, but Verizon has the superior network and the Droid appears to have some neat features... that is if it isn't a total piece of shit like Calebs leads me to believe the current Droid phones are like. Thoughts?
The first part is honestly over my head, so I'll just go to what I know. I bought the g1 after reading about it in Wired Magazine, and I'm very impressed with the OS. My good friend has the Iphone, and the only real difference I've found between the two is the amount of storage space and the 3.5mm headphone jack. If you haven't seen the Android 2.0 OS, look it up. They have blown their original OS out of the water, and it looks like a good competition for the Iphone, especially being on Verizon's network.
I personally am dropping t-mobile to hop back on verizon (which I left to get the g1, big mistake) to get the new Android. Google is going to be a big competitor in the wireless game, and will probably take over Apple in the smartphone game. Google is joining up with multiple cell phone companies so that their OS is on many different styles of phones, unlike the Iphone. They are doing things right definitely, I'm just waiting to see what's next. And I'm not bashing the Iphone, its probably the best smartphone out right now, I just don't like how Apple is always "exclusive" with their products.
