Montana honda builds
« on: July 29, 2010, 12:53:31 AM »

So,
Not sure how I ended up with all this shit, Towdogg taught me how to hustle i guess, but I traded my rusted out 88 Chevy PU for a 96 Civic SI hatch, body's in great shape, got a b20 block and b16 head, a LS motor from some CRX in WA that threw a rod through the side (any one know?).  Also talked to my gf's best friend's BF who has a 98 Integra GSR that suffered severe hail damage, motor has 133000 on it, interior is pristine, offered him 500, he said 600.  Prolly gonna yank engine/tranny and interior, junk body.  (Back window is shattered, quoted 1400 for new one...f..ing montana)  Should have some parts.

Also finally balled up and bought LC-1, Crome Pro, O meter, and did some live data tuning on my 95  gsr civ coupe tonight...only 7 lbs since this is my first time tuning.  i have never cum and shit myself at the same time before, being gentle on the motor. It's pretty quick.  Hopefully make two good cars here.

Just have to watch out for all the big ass trucks trying to run me over up here.

Pix to come

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

That's a steal, both. Just make sure you do the required 100k replacements on the gsr and it will make for a decent boost motor. The b20/v would make for a decent low-boost or DD motor. BTW is it a canadian car? No 96 SI's were made for the usa...

lol...for some reason there are mad "JDM" cars up here, made in Japan, but left hand drive.  It confuses me.

My boy over here just bought a 94 coupe thats JR supercharged B18C...thats it, not C1 or C5...just C.

Prolly all from the russians in WA

Junkyards here had the rear hatches for $75, and even let me choose the color :mexi:

Ya, hondas don't exist in Junkyards up here...maybe i'll try to talk you out of sending me one for less than $1400

why would you not run it, it makes no sense. If there is a water cooled section it was designed to be run with it for cooling. Pretty sure garrett knows better then some fat guy in a accord. nbspnbsp :P

I live in Bozeman, MT 92CXyD.

Yah Chris, kid told me it was an Integra, i figured it was an LS, but low and behold, there was that DOHC VTAK badge on the back, with stock motor and beautiful black interior, manual.

Ya angel, isn't that how much i paid you for my motor?  Some kids don't know what there driving up here...get some sweet deals.
