i dont think hes bashing the military like it seems. your probably confused about the end where it talks about shooting the girl. i think the idea is he tell her to stop because he doesnt know if shes armed and since theres a bunch of shooting going on and dust and smoke and theres a language barrier and so he shoots then see she had a white flag (like the french).

basically he goes from pro war to seeing how crazy it is to being about peace.

I just started watching it and it made me think about what they go through over there. My brother is in Afghanistan and every time I talk to him he seems more bothered by the things going on over there. He talks about the shit that happens and gets furious. Makes me wonder if shit like whats in that music video is why
