i got a 98 isuzu rodeo winter beater and the clutch pedal lost pressure and can not be bled, so i pull the slave cyl out the trans and the end of the rod (pin lookin part) looks bent. now im worried the part it pushes in the trans is wrecked/missing/bent, have not actually looked inside the trans yet i only felt around and i didnt feel anything

ive never heard of the TO bearing release fork falling off or out of place.. does this happen?  i thought it pretty much could not because its held in like a sandwich

Maybe the TO bearing is in a bind(I have had that before) or rusted to the shaft. Did it sit for a while?

I kind of doubt there is damage to the release fork, but you ever know.

I have seen one with a fucked up clutch master cylinder push rod before.  The damn thing got a clutch replaced before anyone decided to see if anything was bent or broken.

i was thinking about it, i guess i never thought this hard about how the clutch works even though ive replaced them, but the actual "fingers" on the pressure plate are what keeps pressure on the throw out bearing, and thats what your pushing against when you press the clutch pedal - is this right? or no?

i can reach in the slave cyl hole in the trans and move the arm forward and back..  also it looked like the end of the pushrod on the old slave cyl came in contact with somthing probly the flywheel, its bent slightly..  wtf happened here

typically the clutch fork has a small spring on it even though the clutch spring is what pushes the pedal back up. im not sure on that particular truck, but as best as i can remember, everything i have ever changed a clutch on had a spring on the clutch fork
