I guess the real question I have - why the fuck would you surf w/o waves? I've seen kiddie pools with bigger pipes.

The screens, baleen, are pushed closed AFTER it's sucked in the food. It filters it on the way out. I'm pretty sure it would have spit a human out anyways. That's like one of you swallowing a flying parakeet when you were lunging for pop corn you tossed up.
