New build *zombie slaying at distance*
« on: March 16, 2012, 07:23:12 PM »

so i've wanted to build a ar15 converted rifle for long range targets for a while now and today i ordered all the parts to complete the build and hopefully be putting rounds down range with in a month or so

#1 started with a safety harbor arms complete bolt action upper receiver comes with a  5 round clip with 22" barrel and bolts to any ar15 mill spec lower

#2 next i got a single shot stripped ar-15 lower receiver from rouge

#3 then for the stock i picked up a maco recoil reduction model along with the buffer kit

#4 for the lower assembly kit i went with the del-ton combat lower parts kit, i will not be using most of it considering it a single shot lower and also a bolt actin but it was easier then ordering all the small stuff separate also the upper receiver gives me a upgraded hammer and spring to ignite the big round

#5 to top it off i just got a dpms pistol grip

every thing should be here in a couple weeks to get it in firing order then i need to get a scope and tripod and its on should look like this when complete in a way

Wish there was anywhere around here to use one. I think youll want to be a cheap nigger but find out you CANT on glass....

Do it right and spend at LEAST 750 on a GOOD scope... Reseist your inner jewbag. Youll be glad you did. Pigfucker built some long barelled 600 dollar SS bnarel 223 rifle ands its wasted by the NCstar chinkiness on it.

You can get good deals on Nikon shit, and its decent.

Get ahold of squidly and have him get you a poopmouth deal on a GOOD piece of glass. .. I see what youre tlking about with the lower... Thats pretty cool shit son.

I now want one of these, my bushmaster is lacking...  Seems like a cheap way to get into shooting .50 (if that is even possible).

I only hope you are going to spend a couple hundred bucks on a decent trigger. that thing is worthless with a stock one  ;)

That's what I was thinking that receiver is made for those uppers, and being a bolt action I shouldn't need it but it easy to take off so not a big deal, plus I've never assembled a striped lower so it good practice any ways

:o  Dear santa, scratch RPK off my want list.

I wish I still lived out int the middle of nowhere. cant shoot in the city, even if some asshole is breaking into your house.

Life or death you had BETTER pick up your fucking weapon, whatever it may be.  Chambered round, quick blade, coffee pot, etc...  Dont give me that "can't" shit.
