Fab request: DIY collector instructions
« on: March 10, 2009, 07:08:30 PM »

A while back someone made an excellent thread on how to make a collector.  If someone is in the process of making one, maybe they could put up some pics.

I just made a chopsaw jig the other week, so I can post one soon. I've been meaning to alter it for a ~10* cut anyways.

The problem is I'm only doing 2-1 collectors for my sinktrap manifold(s). Think I could sell a HF TIG'd 4-1 collector for material costs??

it varies.  if it is a short collector around 15-17 degrees.  if it is a longer collector 10-12 degrees.

What kind of saw is that you are using?  Looks like an upright bandsaw but I dont get how you move the part when it is all clamped down.
