  The portion of floor that is unfinished is where I'm told the new all wheel drive dyno will go. I'm also gonna paint the wall with the small door. There's a big ass hole in the drywall and I wasn't going to let that little wall hold up the whole garage. This was done in 2 days (minus powerwashing day)

The shop is called Full Blown. They're the guys who make the dual walbro hangers you see on HT and stuff.

  I do mostly residential stuff with the customer base I've built (the non-price shopping type), but this year I've done pretty good with whole communities through a Roofer (storm chaser), my own HOA (I get all work here, not just painting)  , and I'm slowly cracking the custom garage market as well. Harley/Car guys are my next big hit.

Steve's car actually imo from how much was done was done in a fair amount of time. Its called doing stuff as the cash comes in.


The car is magazine worthy and has the power to run 10's. If it took 30 years its still badass.

   The reason the car took so long is because of the painting business. I've been good about working on it this year because I knew I was going to drive it. Last year and the years before, I'd get like 2 solid months of painting, calling customers (shit sauce), and trying to schedule everone as if they were the job I'd always hoped for.

  While the years flew by, I actually had pride that it took so long, because I've rushed just about everything at least once, and that wasn't the goal of the car. Now I have the car, still with never ending details to take care of (in my mind), and business is still good. As for me and my family, we worship the Joseph. Yoseph Davids, nikka.

  In short, the only people at the painting jobs who are guaranteed an hourly wage are the ones I have to pay. I'm guaranteed to take home whatever's left when it's all finished, and that's why *I work so fast. lol.

My daily record is $1,900/day, take home, done.




* "I work" is a term used by many company owners to claim work that they actually had their mexicans do.

so did you use the jdm mirrors or are you still using the impossible "i cant see a damn thing" usdm side mirrors? i dig what you did to your car last time i remember seeing it was when it was when you got it. wasnt that before you moved out there or was it right after you got there ?

I'm using the ching chong meow spoon mirrors (I think I made a promise in a song once about that), which I've heard everyone has issues with LHD, but they're good from the right side.
