Yeah, you have no idea how much the VGT whistles before it opens. My exhaust is only 8" long too. Cruising at 70mph the engine is in vacuum like normal, but ahead of the throttle plate the turbo makes 5-6psi. Drive under an overpass or next to a guardrail it literally sounds like a small business jet flying over.

I just wish it had a silencer ring that could be removed like the older holsets. With this one its part of the compressor wheel bore.
