I've already said it but, this is a confirmed hoax. Ray ban, as in the glasses company, staged this as a viral ad. Notice the glasses he had tattooed on, and the glasses his girlfriend have on? Ray Bans. It's a sharpie.

EDIT: you are right though. that is a tube. I'm guessing the needle is cut. They cut away from any real gun work so that's when they are drawing it on.
