It would be much cooler to strip a hood down, sand it with high grit, polish it to a mirror shine and then clear it, then buff the clear.

i think this was started on accident by people like me, that drive around with a certifit primer black hood too cheap to get it painted, eventually it started to turn brown from corosion and weather

VW jetta driving faggots thought it was some new cool thing and turned it into a trend, which later got back around too 17yr asian boys on honda-tech

That pic made me angry. Everything on that car is tastefully done. Except the hood. I'd say it should light on fire, but that will just make even more of the car have the "desired" rusted look.

i cleaned some slump cones at work a few years back with muratic acid. it definatley ate all the concrete off the metal cones, came back the next day and they were rusted to shit. my boss was like who the fuck cleaned those, the surface is calibrated? i blamed my black coworker

i'm talking about like concrete residue. Just the stuff that sticks like after you would dip the pole in the wet concrete and pull it back out. It's going to take quite a while to remove the two bags of cement you poured in the hole that is still attached to the fence posts. I would suggest a large hammer of some sort for a start.

Vinegar is a much cheaper (and less caustic) substitue that I was supposed to use to clean those cones. I didn't know we had a large cooler full of it to soak the shit in for a few weeks. I did that the next time and the shit didn't rust.
