That was on my offroad forum. From what I read most the suspension mounts in that truck were single shear garbage.

That thing was in a magazine about a year ago and I commented then about all the lower shock mounts being week ass single shear, looks like I was right. I have jumped a 82 civic higher then that, seriously.

Stock 1/2 ton K5 Blazer Chassis (HAD DANAS IN IT THOUGH

), 396 CUin w/ TH400 T205 3" body lift 6" Skyjacker springs and triple ranchos all around with 38.5" SS TSLs... I lofted that thing at 35 MPH (OR WHATEVER ABOUT THE TOP OF 2ND WAS IN 4l) up river beds higher and taller than that truck and the only thing I ever broke was a tailshaft and a TC chain....
