ok, so its pretty funny because I was just thinking to myself the other day.. Man its been awhile since rhmt had any problems. Then all of a sudden the database crashed, and me being super prepared I had no backups. So I had to go in and reinstall the forum and grab each sql table out. Thanks Jess slos13 with the "bigdump"

If the forum looks funny to you, clear your cookies/cache shit.

Hopefully this doesnt happen again, and if it does you guys can access old HMT pre Rick, pre Xenocrap ownership. 2007 I think was my last backup. Right now I am going to leave it as a "read only" forum, I'm sure rick is gonna have his balls extra hard for this, but I don't give a shit. I've already talked to my host and he says there is no issues.

yea... just thought about something all of the links in .orgy are pulling from .com lol, and ofcourse rickp still has all MY pictures up, so I will have to rehost them and adjust all the threads. Should only take like a month

Script to output all hmt.com links to a jpg/gif/png/bmp/etc into a file? Manually dl the stuff ya want.

Script to search database for all hmt.coms and replace with hmt.orgs?

When there is a message saying

"Table name_of_table is marked as crashed, you need to repair it"

You just need to go in phpmyadmin or in mysql shell and type

repair table name_of_table

It will repair the table for you and forum will work again.

lol, welll no shit. This isnt my first time doing this. When ALL the databases are marked OK and you've tried to repair them several times. Then what do you do?

its all good, I just need to make regular backups I guess.
