right now there is no fluid in it at all. we sprayed a bit of wd40 in the cylinders and the compression seemed to go up a bit. i suppose it could use some oil in it.
you mean no fluid in the
cylinder at all....right? of course you do....you must
fwiw, when i picked up my 92 si it had been sitting outside behind a casino for 2+ years.
- Changed oil to royal purple, pulled plugs put some oil in each cyl.
- let sit for about an hour and then put in a bit more.
- craked it loose by hand then cranked the starter till the oil light went out on the dash.
- reassembled and she fired right up smoked lots then cleaned up not long after.
not sure why your compression numbers would vary like that... how many revolutions did you do during the test? Is there any way you can run it for a while then recheck the comp? I realize that might be a dumb question given the photos.
