True is a little steep especially for the Huston area but the ad is well authored and I think that $500.00 price tag is for the privilege of living with the poster.

May be expensive for Houston as a whole but pretty reasonable for River Oaks, especially if close to Washington.  I actually live in River Oaks but closer to Upper Kirby and my rent is $1320 a month.

WTF? That's retarded. $1320 is a pretty damn nice house payment here.

1320 is a 2bedroom apt in a decent area here and also how many feet in a 1/4 mile

How many hot pockets can you fit in a 900sq/ft apt. that cost $1350.00/month when you have an illegitimate child that isn't yours and no job?

why would someone pay $1350 when the apt cost $1320?

ha.

Yeah 1300 is mortgage here. although its funny cause most decent houses to rent are about 1100 in this area too.

I know a lesbian who's being raped for $300 to live in someone's basement. Her bathroom is just a roughed in wall with a big curtain covering a shower base, toilet, and sink/vanity. And this is in the suburbs of wisconsin.  :-X

I'm looking for a house atm, and plan to do the same thing. Even at $250 a month, they'll be paying for 1/3-1/2 my mortgage+taxes+utilitiess.

For sure, you can buy a decent house and still have a $600-$700 morgage here in WI.
