SO, had a guy at work ask if i could pull the 6.9L Diesel Ford and install a 7.3L that he picked up for some outrageous price out of a UHaul that had rolled....doing the swap tonight, had to change motor mounts and oil cooler, as I pulled off oil cooler, i noticed no water but all oil. Looked in the port for the antifreeze and saw chunks of metal, removed oil pan and found this in the oil pan...
First thing i noticed was the large wrist pin...
continued to investigate and pulled this out

SO, now this guy i work with wants me to put the original 6.9L back in, and he's out the 2 Grand he paid for the motor plus the money he owes me for my time invested...bummer
