Very similar,  I loved C and C, and this game has been equally addicting so far. Plus the multiuplayer online feature brings a whole new dimension.

What new dimension?  I mean, C&C had it too.  Loved C&C, and looking forward to the new one.

Liked Age of Empires, Rise of Nations too.

The older Warcraft games were cool, but I didn't like 3 where you had all these spells and classes and extra bullshit, I like it simple.

Starcraft was good, haven't played the new one.

Sorry, haven't played C&C since RedAlert2.  I did play multiplayer on that, but only remember 1 on 1.  In RUSE, you can do up to eight players in free for all, or teams of varying size.  That was the added dimension I was referring to.  Also in RUSE, you can launch fake assaults, send spys, camaflouge bases, lauch terror campaigns (not as neat as it sounds), that's what the RUSE name is about.  I personally think that the ruses you can throw are not nearly enough to name the entire game after, but it is fun and addicting.

Not sure if I'll pay $50 to own a real copy though.

IIRC it had more than 1 on 1, in RA2, although I could be wrong as I haven't played it in years.

I just watched the trailer I linked above for the first time, didn't know it was different than the one I saw before.  I like how they had it on a touchscreen "table."

Makes me think of Microsoft Surface, and I always thought it would be perfect for an RTS game, although multiplayer wouldn't work too well since you'd see their moves...  would still be cool.
