my friend Darin and I finally made the manifold for my build (last one was for Darins drag car)

i did the welding, and we both mocked it up together trading ideas on the best way to route the runners.

once again, its paired properly.

i guess i just like the one we did for his car better. maybe this one will grow on me. its nice, but, damn, when we made his i fell in love with it. lol

heres the collector. once again the

jig came into play. man i love that thing.

all welded up. i had to remove runner # 3 and weld it separate.

charge piping will go behind the rad between the block and rad fan, and through the IC, into the tb. should be very small amount of charge piping.

it just seemed like the thing to do at the time. left me the most room to do other things i want to do. mostly easier to run less charge piping this way

Looks tits. MIG'd I'd assume?

If I had that I'd put the WG straight down, so it's at a 45* with the collector. I just like no possibility of boost creep, although it's meaningless when you crank the boost controller to NOG setting.

to help illustrate this a little better i took a pic with the charge piping mocked up.

let me tell ya, this charge piping was a CUNT to do without couplers to hold everything in place. ended up using tape. haha

im thinking about getting my friend to replicate the hot side with aluminum. not really liking the idea of the mild steel heat soaking. but if i cant afford that ill just wrap it with some home depot thermal sheet.

i also welded on the BOV flange, right at the bend that goes into the intercooler on the outside radius.
