what do you guys think is to much in a gap in age. Obviously a 45 year old and a 40 year old together is one thing, but what about like a 23yr old with a 19yr or something like that. is that cool or does it seem a little odd? Just curious what people thought. I feel that the two people should be relatively close in age/maturity, but what is considered to be out of the norm?

You really need to be more specific. If it's just sex, then age really doesn't matter other than legal trouble.

If it's a serious relationship with intentions of being together till the first one of you dies then my opinion is about 10 years. Any more than that and people seem to grow apart. There are always exceptions to the rule, but that would be my rule of thumb if I wasn't already married.

+1. Younger girls are fun in the sack, but relationship material they do not make. Under 20 they are usually childish and annoying, 20-25 they are all childish and ready to get married, 25-30 they want a ring and to pop out a kid pronto. My girlfriend was 18 when I met her and I was 23.  The age difference at first did bother me becuase she like just turned 18 3 months before I met her.  I wasn't even sure if I wanted to get involved with her cause the age bothered me that much.  I got a bunch of shit from some of my friends and girls like to talk and it got annoying.  But we're still together she's 22 and I'm 27 now and the age isn't an issue anymore.  I'm glad I didn't let the age thing get to me

When viewing other couples anything more than 8 years seem a bit much for me.

The overall exception is hittin it with a cougar (if your younger) or cradle robbing a young hottie (if your older and shes 18+) for a temporary amount of time.

Jaxi was 14 years younger than me.  Sara J, 10 years younger.  Sara R 6 years younger.  Clarissa 3-4 years younger.  Victoria, 3 years older.  That pretty much sums up every girl who's stuck around for 9 months to a year, or longer.  Most of the girls I had casual sex or things didn't make it through the first three month introductory period were 19-22.

Honestly, age is only important insofar as women are usually far more attractive when younger.  With the exception of Victoria (my equal) and Clarissa (crazy), women annoyed or bored me.  Kinda sucks when you love them, too.  I feel bad like I let them down, and then they're gone and I forget about them within the week.  Meh.
