Whats the fastest track in the world? isn't it brainerd ( bir) in the middle of nowhere Minnesota? if it is east coast fail.

Schu's old 1/4 MPH record was set at National Trails east of Columbus Ohio.

With TF cars now only running 1000 ft they no longer habve the NHRA mandated timing retard to slow the cars down, also back to running 90% nitro.

The extra 320 feet they used to run, the motors were only making about 60% power due to the timing retard, which was HURTING the motor more that if they "let it eat" for 1000 ft.

The only thing we have to thank the east coast for is brick walls at the end of their tracks that ended real quarter mile racing. And some lives.

Ohio holds the title...BIR is nothing.
