Who has rebuild a power steering rack?

So just bought car number 'i can't remember what one we are on' and it needs new seals put in the p/s rack where the rod ends are.  anyone ever done this and can say how hard it is?  has anyone used these guys for parts?  http://www.pskits.com/catalog/-c-21.html?osCsid=9f0f8f06cde965127ed0c490c6b9c771

Rebuilding a steering rack is pretty easy. Self explanatory once its in your hands and you're taking it apart.

Rebuilding a steering rack is pretty easy. Self explanatory once its in your hands and you're taking it apart.

word.  ordered my shit.  i might do a write up, but it's on a vw so i don't know how well that will go over here...

Not hard at all, and complete rebuilt units are pretty cheap too if you don't wanna mess with it.

pretty cheap is still 150 bones i dont' have.  i'll definatley mess with it.
