I have had that with new turbos or turbos that have been sitting for a while. Usually after a few miles they would spin at idle. A 16g really isn't very big.

sorry computer died last time i tried to post, this thing sucks.

its a legit twin scroll 16g off mellons evo 8 from racevideoforums.com

things been sitting about a year and a half or so

got a miniram manifold, 3in downpipe, no exhaust just about a foot of 90deg pipe off the turbo...

figured its not a bad thing, hell it would be nice to know it wasnt spinning at idle save the life of it some i guess

thanks,

matt

Get a manifold with paired runners for the twin scroll. That fucker will spin at idle.

dont even get me started with the manifold haha

first it was a custom log, wastegate was all messed up going into the rad, sat the turbo too low couldnt even make a drain line

got a miniram, cut the flange off and welded on my twin scroll flange, which as you know isnt a regular t3/t4 flange, well that sat wrong, so now its on right, goos drain line hah ill get pics up in a bit
