I think all cop cars need to have turbo. nbspnbsp Then they would understand the necessity of putting your foot down and how uncontrollable the urge is to fucking rail on that shit.

I use stainless steel fishing trace wire and two screw drivers as handles, costs about $3 for a meter :noel:

I use to work @ a salvage yard. When we pulled windshields all we used was piano wire and a good pair of vicegrips at each end. Cut with a back and forth pulling motion. It's easiest to have one person inside and another on the outside. Saturns and Taurus are the toughest to pull without breaking, everything else is cake.

I've cut windows out out of cars in the yard using the vice grip method, but with a throttle cable after removing the housing.  That was an improvised solution for some kids that needed one and couldn't figure out how take it out with their screwdriver n cresent wrench...  In your case take some piano wire with ya...

http://www.harborfreight.com/windshield-removing-tool-99892.html

10 bucks

or this
http://www.harborfreight.com/professional-windshield-removal-kit-96339.html
20 bucks

I bought the 10 dollar one and the blade snapped as soon as I tried to insert it under the windshield. Returned it, gave em 10 more bucks, and brought the other tool home. Holy fuck, I couldnt have been happier. Being that my car has a sunroof, I was able to pull the whole windshield out, first time attempt ever, within 5 minutes, by myself.

I would recommend having a friend help, but that 20 dollar tool is the SHIT, and comes with more than enough wire to do all of your friends cars too. (Make money bitch!)

eh on the torch. it normally distorts the plastic safety shit in between the two layers of the windshield... I use wd-40 and piano wire, attached to a round dowel on each end. The only tricky part is getting the wire through when you start, i always start at the top of the drivers side on the corner. Easiest spot to get through.

What are you looking for a windshield for? I have a brand new 4door EF windshield, 50 bucks takes it.
