The phone app is free in their respective app marketplace.  I paid the $3 to have the "pro" version, not sure what the difference is from the free version.

The forum plugin is free.  I guess it can be downloaded after registering as a forum owner.  Typically I like the "full browser" experience, but browsing forums on any phone feels like a chore.  Doing it on Tapatalk makes it a piece of cake.

Haven't messed with it since I got away from the Iphone BS, but with that platform  when I had tapatalk, you could read but not post if you didn't have the paid version.

I don't like it, all it does is remove the ads and photos from forums so that you can view the important messages, turns it into giant text messages, I wasted my money on it a year ago. sometimes I only browse forums to see the photos, not to read nonsense.

The free version I downloaded yesterday )android)  shows images.  I wonder if that was added since you last had it?

The biggest thing that is nice about it is it loads much faster, especially on a slow connection.  Nice when I'm out with low signal.

It works well, I installed it on my own forum cause some members wanted it. I used it for a few days and now I never do. I am perfectly happy using my iPhone on forums in standard format.

Honestly, I prefer it over the full experience   Strips out all the BS and automatically takes you to your last-read post.  I prefer the full format for some pages, just not for forums.  It's nice to be able to view embedded flash
