But we are now got a 10 year GP race in New Jersey starting in 2013.

I prefer the semi-realistic aeros of GT racing. Nascar focuses on tuning of old tech, while almost all open-wheel racing is downforce and tech. In 10 years they'll allow robots to race, how fun will that be?

It would make sense. Nascar was "win on sunday, sell on monday", but show me how many nascar chassis have a v8 carb'd engine in the road/sales version. An FI 4- or 6-cyl would make lots of sense.

Unless things have changed since the last time I looked at new push mowers, probably still the most prevalent kind out there, they were all still a L-head design.

Maybe the ones people put on the corners on junk day. All the ones I've seen sold in the last 7 years are all ohv motors.

Not all are pushrods though. Honda GC-junk use a belt to drive a plastic "cam", a gear with lobes that act on followers that pivot on pins. GC160 cam = $10, GX160 metal/gear cam = $61 (both wholesale). Other brands use belts & chains the same way.
