A very good friend of mine was involved in a horrible accident early this morning. Dunno all the details but knowing him and from pics/article info, the guy in the truck was probably fucking with him and harrasing him. Doesnt sound like a race setup and he doesn't do that shit with his car. EVER. Babies that damn thing.

Wow, hard to believe your friend & that engine were still ticking after that sort of wreck. I hope he pulls through. My friend's dad was in a high-speed head-on in his NSX (other driver drunk, crossed 2 lanes). He's recovering, but they said the strong frame was all that saved him. If that was a civic instead of a Z, he'd have been charred hamburger.

Yeah, that's quite shitty man. My condolences to you and his family/friends. He may have felt otherwise, but personally I'd rather be dead than live out my life paralyzed from the neck down.

Looking at the pictures, it's amazing anyone got out. I'm thinking both him and the truck driver were at a pretty high fucking rate of speed, your buddy tried to slow down or stop, and the truck knocked it off the road into the trees. Comments, some guy said the truck looked like it went airborne when it hit the car.

I've had the CRX over 100+ and the S over 120+ because of assholes pissing me off. Never when traffic is around, but it's easy to forget you're putting yourself at a serious risk doing it. All you can hope for now is that justice is served to the wife-beater.
