While it may not seem like alot of work in a whole, it was very time consuming getting the intercooler and radiator installed non ghetto fabulous. It turned out really good though. I like how stout and secure everything is. Pics!
new beer fridge!
shit cut where I need to
Time to hit up the rad support bracket. To tight for my drill so I used my right angle attachment
I might move the whole rad over if i need more room so for now I just attache the bracket I drilled out with some self tapping sheet metal screws.
intercooler brackets
painted up and checking fitments with ic and rad
Now time to do work on the bumper cover
before modding turn signal brackets
After modding brackets and bumper cover
Also threw on the turbo return/catch can return oil pan
Also put on the new valve cover
also slipped the resistor box in
and no nigger rigging here. I de pinned and repinned the resistor so I wouldt have to cut and splice. Although I was bummed I had to cut and solder inw injector clips, But it turned out ok. Just took up more time. Story of my life.
Also ran out of time, but I didnt get to take a pic of how well the bumper fitment with the intercooler turned out But I will. Since I had the bumper cover off I also did a quick buff on the headlights so I can actually see at night. And did quick basemap so I could drive it to work.
My life plans for this week are quick 15 min jobs on the car. I need to drop the walbro 255 in and wire up a relay for it to.
Put the 4bar in now that I know everything runs pretty smooth with the stock one and I know I didnt fuck anything up. I was gona do it while I had everything apart, but then If I had any problems with injectors I didnt want to be chasing my tale trying to sort shit out. And maybe some odds and ends here and there too.
