Worst football injury EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
« on: April 13, 2009, 01:11:14 PM »

OXFORD - In today's post-scrimmage meeting with Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt, reporters were asking some of the usual questions when somebody asked "Where was (receiver) Andrew Harris today?" Nutt paused for a second, squinted his eyes, and said two words that will make every man on Earth wince: "Ruptured testicle."

I've never seen anyone in this much pain in my entire life. I was on the opposite end of the practice field working when i hear an agonizing scream......look over and i see a player rolling around on the ground screaming in pain and punctuated by projectile vomiting.....i thought that the guy just got hit REALLY hard in the stomach....but nope. found out later what actually happened.

It's kind of difficult to describe what actually happens when you rupture your testicle(i still shiver when i say that)....but this is the best that i can do based on what i was told...

imagine you have a bag of crawfish. The crawfish are the various nerves/tissue that make up your testicles. The bag they are in is the derma that keeps them tightly formed. The ice chest that you keep this bag in is the "sack" that you see when you peer at yourself in the mirror while reciting Broadway show tunes. Now, imagine that in a drunken haze you accidentally throw your empty Zima bottle into the ice chest. It breaks, tearing the bag holding the crawfish. The crawfish begin to spill out of the bag, but are still pretty contained because they are in an ice chest.
