Would this metal be ok to make my flanges from?  I don't wanna end up with the shit powdering on me.

no one on teamswift makes flanges? wasnt there that company out of canada or some shit? i thought turbo geos were cool at one time till i realized the 3cyl whp record is like 200

Just go by your local steel yard and ask to go through their plate and flat bar drops. Piece big enough to make a header flange will cost you maybe 10 bucks in 1/2 inch steel plate.
