All out of money for hookers?   Roll through the trap in this and you'll have to pay them to leave.

So here it is, I built what I thought was gonna be the best thing since sliced bread in my s2000 being the th400 transmission for drag setup bit after twisting converters off billet flex plates x3 I figured there is no way to hold that 45psi at 10k rpm with that setup, so I was left with two option one spend another 5k and get the car back to manual or two sell that engine and get something that bolts up to my drive line with no issues, I chose the ladder and acquired a lq9 to build and a s480 to feed that bitch so here is the start of the hatchbone s2k v.4

Too bad for them?

Did you end up trying the steel flexplate? I'm curious if it was the lack of any flex or if the power pulses were too spaced out (being a 4cyl vs 8cyl). 3 mounting tabs really isn't much when you think about it, so any extra shock between power pulses could take them out that much easier.

Steel just would have been to heavy imo I tried lol all I can say really. It worked great for street driving but trans break/launching twisted it off every time oh well v8 hotness should be fun and I really dont care if I piss honda folks off this is gonna be awesome .

I know it's a little, late, but it looks like there are a few ways you could have made that billet flex plate considerably stronger.  Better luck with your lq9!  Lets see some wheelies!

That was the first plate I busted, I had two more cut that were full circles and it always cocked the bolts sideways and eventually tore the threads right out
