Here's some of what I've been up to lately!

CB450 frame:

I detabbed some of the frame and am going to be constructing a seat pan and battery tray for the above bike bike.

I've got another bike that is in for a custom SS 2-1 header and frame mods to fit this custom body that is going to be 'glassed at some point:

What could that bizzare looking thing be for?

Some of you may be familiar with these pieces of poo:

The collector fell off. Clean crack right through the effing weld. The header had already had nearly every single weld crack before, but it was repaired by someone competent. Then the collector fell off. So I got to thinking . . . What can be done to improve that piece of crap? 2.5" collector on a D-series engine? Sure. That's optimal.

Pie cuts are at home on this forum, right?

It took a while of test fitting and changing a few things around to fit as per my customer's requirements, but eventually it ended up looking like this:

Before I welded the header to the new collector, I took the liberty of cleaning up this:

Isn't the the kind of collector you love seeing on a $700+ header, custom made for your engine?

After 10 minutes with a crap stone on my grinder:

It's an Everlast 250EX. I like it a lot. It has some faults, but, the arc is stable the machine is easily adjustable (I truly prefer the knobs vs. Miller's menu system) and it is very efficient. I got a real torch, though, and the next thing I buy for it is going to be a better foot pedal. The one that comes with it is perfect for Herman Munster. I've done a LOT of welding with Miller machines, some with Lincoln and even a bit with Thermal Arc. This one is just as good as any of them. It has everything I need and nothing I don't want. I love the pulse frequency adjustment. I don't use it for lame "pretty" beads. Setting the pulser correctly helps keep the puddle on corners when you are doing precise work. That slow .5-1Hz stuff is for tards with no puddle control and can make for weaker welds.

I've been stick welding with it recently, too. The "dig" or arc force setting is extremely useful. I love the way this thing turns down for welding THIN aluminum. I think that this machine has better low amperage AC arc stability than either Miller or Lincoln.

This place is hilarious. Sometimes a well known OG pops up and does the intro and doesn't post the porn, in fact out right refuses. the entire site descends on him like vultures and he gets the boot with the quickness with almost everyone calling him a niggerfaggot and saying if hes too god to post teh porn he can GTFO. ....other times an OG pops up and does EXACTLY the same and the same people are like "Oh ok cool then." and no one cares.
