Check it out..... So every year the rotary club this town about 10 miles from me holds a auction/sale of donated shit that they sell so raise money for some women's shelter. They sell everything there from cars, to tools, computers, tv's, cloths, books, pretty much a bunch if stuff nobody wants any more. Well the town is full of rich birkenstock hippie prius driving tree hunger who have daddy and mommy inherited money. And if its a couple if year old, they get rid of it. Kinda like all the people I know that swing on nuts of Apple products. They let you go in and preview the night b4 everything is on sale. So you can kinda get and idea of what's there. But everything is roped off so you can't touch and play with it. So the big $ items are a action. Like new table saws, and I pads, bread makers, what ever. And them everything else is marked as is and you can barter if you get the right guy.......
So 2 years ago I picked up 2 hf MIG welders. Both were marked broken. They didn't know what was wrong its just that they didn't work. Well $15 each I figured I would roll the dice. Bright them home and 1 had the plug end cut off. It was 220v unit so I went , down spent $6 on a new plug and bamo, shit worked perfect. Plugged in the 110v one and it worked too. So I figured they were dumb asses and didn't know you have to put that clap on what ever your welding....lol score!
So then last year I went and scored a 40cf tank for the MIG for $10 and it was still in hydro, score!
This year I went on Friday and checked it out and noticed there was this little blue box on a table that said miller on the side of the box! I though wtf is that? Asked one of the workers there what was up with the miller. He said "the plasma cutter don't work" I said ok, how much? Said $40...... Ok ill roll the dice. Next morning lined up with the rest of the crazy asses and ran and snatched that fucker once the gates opened. Checked it out and noticed it didnt have a plug normal plug on the end. Turns out that miller makes a end that spins off so you can put a 110v 15amp, 110v 20amp or 220v 50amp. Ran to my local supply house today and picked up an end for $15.18 out the door. So now I've got $55.18 into this plasma, hope it works.............
Cliffs: payed $55.18 for a broke plasma that supposedly didn't work that works
