Yeah I'm using one off of a b16a.  If you use the heater core circuit water will flow throw the oil cooler when the heater control is open.

I drive my car with the heater valve open 95% of the time. ;D

If you do the VX route it would circulate all the time even with the thermostat closed.

Get a torch, and light all the bushings on fire. Then they press out with ease.

got the gay-sports in, kinda a pain to adjust but not bad, i put 1 full turn of preload on the spring and measured to make sure they are all in even. as a start I put them at 2" of threads exposed all around and will adjust from here once i put it on the ground

been in here way to long......

they fit!!! but out back its so close to the arm its less then 1/2" not sure how i feel about that. . . maybe spacer and extended studs in the future?

really not a fan of their hose bracket but w/e. I figured for the money they would make it mount like stock, guess not

was just about done then BAM honda bolt syndrome struck me at last.

Looks good, curious on how those K-sports work for you.

I may try these in the future.

ill let you know in a bit once its on the ground they are the typical chink coilover nothing to crazy but i got them for cheap so whatever.

I just need to get that fucking bolt out! i cut the bushing out using a cutoff wheel and the LCA is now free. Ive tried welding a nut or bolt onto the snapped bolt to turn it out. When i try to turn it through the welded nut/bolt snaps off  :?:

thats the only thing stopping me from driving it. . . one fucking bolt......

Im pretty sure youre supposed to run extended studs with slicks, per NHRA rules. Ill try and look it up.

the rule on wheel studs is you are suppose to have 1 and 1/2 times of engagement on the threads so

12mm X 1.5mm = 18mm of engaged threads.

makes sence ill have to measure how long the stock studs are, how thick the ray wheel is add 5mm to it and see if i have enough left on the stud

thanks for the info!

got bored today and had a bit of free time so figured do work on the CIV!

kinda pissed at myself, i didnt acomidate for the heat/shrink of the DP flange so now its touching the oilpan from the bottom :( also forgot to plug up an extra coolant pipe before throwing it in, but nothing some jb wont fix

the plan right now is to just hook it up minimal and fire it up to make sure everything is ok internaly before putting everything back in.

one of the bearings had a cut/scratch in it so im hoping it will be ok, really dont want to take all this back out if it doesnt run 100% :/
