Working on changing the clutch in the Porsche.  Made a real home made pilot bearing extractor tool out of some concrete screw anchors.  Took a while to get perfect it, but it worked like a charm.

Trans sitting out there, in the new garage!

Pulled the engine out a couple weeks ago. Noticed a drop of water coming from behind the dipstick and turns out the outside of the block developed a crack, most likely due to the stress of the sleeves. Sending it back and they're taking care of it, so nothing major to spend funds on this Winter.

I did finally sell my 6 puck Clutch Specialties that I know I was on the edge of destroying, and the FIC 1000cc's that I maxed. Twin disk and 2150's for next year. Mostly for 4th gear track shit. The new turbo runs out of breath at 700 anyhow.

Completely happy with the streetability of the car this year at 542hp. My upgrades are strictly to take some stress off the injectors and clutch, gain more 4th gear power for the track, and continue playing this street/show/race car fence.

My larger goal this Winter is to purchase a jr dragster for "Baby Bin Laden" (my now 10 yr old oldest son pictured above). It's a clean 5K I'm gonna need to spend to give him the experience, but it's carbureted, which I have zero clue about.

I'm not thinking he's going "all in" competitive with it, and I'm just trying to give him the experience and see if it's something he's *really* into. I just don't want to make an ignorant 5K purchase, and even more, not get him in a car that can make a clean run because I didn't know the major things of these cars. I'm on a jr dragster forum being a noob.  :noel:

You know what else works awesome. Soak some toilet paper and jam it down inside. Then hit it with a punch. Never woulda believed until i saw it. My dad showed me that.

Nice, heard about doing that with grease, TP sounds much less messy.

The porno red carpet came from the shiny car:

I found some decently fresh oem black carpet in the yard a few months back, so I didn't need the red stuff.  So, there ya go one more project halfway there.

Wifemode found a rust free used whip she wanted in South Carolina, and on my way back I surprised Joseph Davis by stopping by and finally meeting him. He was sleeping on the lobby couch, as you would expect.

He bought me a pretty good burrito and a drink, and nothing sexual happened, so it was good.  :noel:

Got back today with the new (to her) whip. 05 Pacifica Limited.

Half of this website has slept on that lobby couch. Pretty sure he was napping in some of Nightrain's leftover rib nuggets and everyone else's spunk.

The proper place to sleep is on the lexus is seats.

I sold 4 of my honda's this summer and went a different route. picked up a "driver" condition 89' corvette, l98, 6 spd, 3:54 d44, z51, selective ride, glass top, red on red. Over all it runs and drives fine just needs standard work for a 24 yr old summer car driven by a nurse. Plan is to clean up/ fix the issues and just drive the hell out of it.

I also have my 88' F250, 4x4, 460 BBF, winter truck. the truck has a rebuilt 460 with comp xe256 cam w/ full valvetrain,1 3/4 headers , dual 2 1/2 exhaust. adj. fpr. I'm setting this up for tow duty.
