Hello Everyone, I have been lurking here for a while and decided to recently join. I have an 03 RSX Type -S that has been sitting for quite some time due to other builds... but its finally time for me to move forward with finishing this build of going Built motor and Big turbo! 


To give you guys a little background... I got the car in not so great condition. Lambo Doors, Half A Body Kit, TV, Sound System, Half Wrecked front end, Ghetto Wheels, Neons.... you get the point.. 


So me and 2 buddies started to tear EVERYTHING down and begin the build.




I bought a front clip, rear bumper, side skirts ect of Legit Type-R parts from Japan 



And then I dropped the car off with a good friend of mines' body shop where I was able to work on the car and help out with everything.





Now... Onto the go fast parts

Porn always helps us overlook bad intros.

The ninja edit helped some, but there is really no information. From looking at the pic of the "big" precision turbo, I would say it is a small precision turbo. Here is a big precision turbo:

Holy crap.. that is a big ass turbo lol.. I know the 6766 isn't terribly big but its what im going to use for now until I can find a used 7175/7275 or something comparable for cheap.

I would get rid of the block guard and either leave it stock sleeves of get the block css!

Since the motor is already together ill be leaving the block guard in.. I have a spare block and that'll either be getting Filled or Sleeved for when this setup blows. If this setup happens to last for a while ill probably just pull the head off and fill the block..... I doubt it will last, though

While it is a large Precision in my picture it is not even close to their biggest, as it is only a Promod88 Gen2.

My buddy bought injectors from him and suggested him to me... ill deff shoot him a message and hopefully can utilize his parts.

As for the turbo that's very true! And the Promod88 is a great turbo!

Never seen severe overspeed of a turbo? It made north of 110psi, not sure exactly as it saturated the data log sensor, just before it popped.

ohisofly - I have no clue about power level yet... I'm trying to find out what these transmissions and stock sleeves are good for power wise..  I don't see an issue with 800+ initially. After that I will work on a PPG transmission and a sleeved or filled block.... After that, who knows. It'll be my daily driver so nothing to crazy

Well, updates should be coming shortly.  I've been busy the past week trying to get my Viper ready for its new owner who came last night and picked it up... kinda bummed but owel.

Items I have purchased so far..

I got a killed deal on a different turbo kit so im going with a JDL sidewinder and JB 6765 for right now.

Bought a mint 6 speed trans.. hopefully it'll hold together for a little while.

I also bought an ebay walbro 450 and need to figure out how to make a cheap surge tank to feed a Bosch 044 I have laying around. Anybody ever make a ghetto surge tank? Im really not looking to buy one...

Engine, trans, and turbo kit should be in the car this weekend.. ive been waiting on a few random parts from Honda/Acura.

I did in fact have a Viper. And Yes, I am building an RSX.. I have a thing for Hondas and EVOs. I have Ebay Walbro's in all of my cars.. and they have all worked and performed flawlessly on both pump gas, race gas, and E85. As for the Surge tank.. I looked at a couple, I just cant see spending more on a surge tank then I did on my turbo or manifold lol So I wasn't sure if anyone has made one before. With that said, I have an old tiny air tank at my house... Ill probably see if I can hack it up somehow and put some AN fitting on it
