Yah def I am riching it up

looked up my last dyno run results (self tuned, its been a few years) and gave you my actual approach last time which was to just set a target afr that was low enough for safety and good for power all around when under boost, there is always some power to be made when leaning it up a bit but its truly negligible and its best to just keep it simple and chase power with timing not afrs

some spots actually make more power richer due to cool down effect too but i hate overly rich cars. less than 11.2 its just not needed

i turned boost up a little bit to about 8 or 9 or so i guess? it ran hard and then randomly it would act like it had a big vacuum leak and run  shitty and i chased my tail for a little bit but i finally figure out what happened.

it blew out the vacuum servo for the cruise control, its weird because it would be a big leak, then later fix itself... then it started not fixing itself at all lol.

everytime i would boost itwould fuck up a again. there was a check valve i nthat vacuum line from the factory but it must not work well enough.

i disconnected the cruise control and added a new check valve to the vacuum line that goes to some other crap in the cab like that vent control

I actually just figured out what the problem was....

Leaky Chinese injectors.... they were leaking really bad you could hear them spraying just by putting ear up yo manifold.
I put the stockers back in until I figure something out. They might be fine anyways.... they are 23.4lb apparently

A little lean but I'm working on a different issue and it's really bizarre.

The car runs and acts "normal" but after I boost only if it's for a second it runs like 20% leaner then all of a sudden back to normal... could be a day later could ve a few mins

I can't figure out what the fuck is happening.

Like it'll cruise at 13:1. For days... I boost one time wot even for a second and it runs 15:1 for a random amount of time

I'm hoping it's just in the tune. Without the data logging working it's very hard to see where you are at on the map

What would help me a lot would be how to scale this map.

So basically the stock map reads 14.8 to 105kpa

The Honda map should be like -25vac to 11.4psi

If I could scale the Honda map to this grid. There are also some parameters in hptuners for the map scaling the hptuners doesn't give a description that makes sense it basically just says the same thing as the label.

I might have found the problem....

The idle air control valve took it out was seriously gummed up like it had never been removed, I got a new one and cleaned the tb and it seems to be better now....

I also put the stock map sensor on to try and eliminate potential issues but that wasn't it...

I'm gangsta tuning the last row for now

I made bullet connectors for the maps lololol

It's fine now. The iac was fucked up.

It was fucked up so bad it was making me run in circles because the afr would change randomly because of the extra air being let in. Going into boost must have pushed it open and it would randomly start moving again... it was super crusty and shitty looking.

It was so bad I went back to stock map and stock tune and with the correct iac it would barely run. Instead of resetting by disconnecting battery., i drove it around a bit starting and stopping motor and its learning and runs good now.

I should probably switch to the other map again, the gangsta tune at 0 vac sucks for driveability

Bigtime

Multiple problems but I'm getting it sorted I had the wastegate stick open twice

I took it apart and smoothed out the valve and the seat like the say to do to "bullet proof" them. Seems better now

I'm going to buy some bosch Ford "skinny giant" injectors. They are 42lb and pretty cheap. I also have the injector data for them so my tune will make sense

runs great with stock map and injectors.

i keep having to bump up the fuel at wot at 7psi its still not rich enough, its really wet out and pointless to do anything most of the time for the last couple days

Good stuff! I like to go from rich to lean , you might benefit adding a few percentage points to that area and leaning it up instead, I’m always scared of knock

car runs great but can't stand WOT. injectors are totally maxed out at whatever power 7psi wants to make.

my 42s should be here friday i think.

can't do shit until i get them. the stock 24s are maxxx'd

my 42s should be here today at some point.

truck runs great stock inj just can't handle power.

i think it runs better part throttle with my tune and a little more gas. like 13.5AFR part throttle rather than ~14.7 when the computer controls it

Got some dry pavement this morning so I did some tuning while running errands. It's about 12.4-12.5 afr and runs pretty good on spring which is about 7psi

I need to do some work on the hit ts running too rich in the hit and I think it's making the turbo spool up slower.

8-9psi felt like 40-50hp gain lol. I'm going to leave it around 9psi and be happy with it.

I don't want to blow out the plenum gasket at least anytime soon.

If it blows ill either weld it or but the plemun kit that is supposed to handle lots of boost

These injectors are great and cheap.
