Was dry yesterday and I turned it up to 8-9psi hard to tell exactly but more like 9 and it runs good

11.9afr and 17deg timing

Also had a problem with the pcv it would hold pressure sometimes and other times not I tested it with ym mouth.

So basically I took a brake boost check valve and it fit in there perfect and it holds strong. Turbo spools faster now and it feels better all around

Was boosting my crankcase a little

I think this wastegate is funky too. China junk i guess...

It's like it gets stuck open a tiny bit or something. I can't figure it out.

I'll boost even a little and randomly the engine will run lean cruising around and it will build boost slower and not seem right.

Then it will randomly fix itself.

When I was not right I took the reference line off the wg and it seemed to fix the issue. I then put it back on and it seemed fine....

It's getting reference from the upper charge pipe and doesn't get any vac.

Also the carb hat seems to slide around a bit I have a gasket for it, I'm going to put it on now.

I don't see why that would make it run leaner causing. It seems like a vac leak or blown gasket but those things don't typically fix themselves.... I also took everything vac related off and only hooked up the map and it still had the problem. I also tried different maps.

It's like the iac gets pushed open and then doesn't close until like a cold start or something.

I wonder if I can run without a iac and just tune it for the air being let in

The iac is wierd. I think it's in the tune and has to do with this tablet.

But when I modify this table it doesn't really seem to fix it. It does cause other issues

There is no description of what this table does

I changed in the tune the amount of iac steps allowed I cut it in half and it seems better...

I cut it down some more I'll test it tomorrow.

Added gasket finally lolol

Timing during decel aids in engine breaking also used for making your tune pop and crackle i haven’t used that tuning software but believe that’s what that table refers to

When I replaced the clamps on the hot side one wasn't leaking so I left it. Now it's leaking like a bitch all of a sudden so I'm going to put the new clamp I have for it on tomorrow

A new version of hptuners vcm scanner came out and it works with my PCM

So I've been getting it dialed in part throttle just based on stft

Running about 10psi and it runs nice

yah a of rain out there right now. if we had more global warming i'd be doing rippers right now

anyways a couple days ago when i was on 8psi i raced a harely and put a truck length on him to about 90mph i looked up the harley specs and it said mid 13s @ 105-107.

so going from 15.5@86 to low 13s not bad

because this gt45 is so big it seems like every psi adds a lot of air / hp lol

it was funny cause i saw the guy on the harley rip up behind me and i'm like if the light turns yellow i'm going to race his ass. at the light i was like hey wanna race? and the guy just shook his head like i was retarded

after i beat him he was yelling whats done to it and i mouthed turbo and he threw his head back laughing lol. it was some good fun

The truck runs like stock right now it's so good part throttle. Having the scanner made it so simple a couple drives and it's fucking dialed. All my ltft are are +/- 2 or 3

I've been leaning out the base table for cruising and adding fuel back in through the part throttle enrichment

Fixed it again.... Had to remove manifold.

Weld blew out a little on side facing the block

The other manifold stud in the center broke off in the head... Lol I should've removed it when I had the chance instead of reusing it.... Lol

I put some exhaust gasket maker around a stock manifold gasket and it's holding lol

I also warped the shit out of the vband flange welding it like a mfer

I put some gasket making on the vband male/female surface

No leaks! But for how long.

ive always have bad luck with vbands, but i once got some straight thru holset, same once that came from the factory of an hx35w elbow and those were damn robust maybe that bit of info can help out, diesel shops might stock those. ebay ones are a class junk usually

Yeah apparently the expensive vabnds are good but they are like almost 100 each I think

It wasn't the vband tho the weld blew out a small hole again lol

I think the weld blew out both spots at the same time. I just didn't see it cause it was up against the blovk and I never took it off the first time

Exhaust leaks suck

Replaced the front shocks

They were getting weak and also not the right length for lowered 2"

They were partially compressed just sitting normally.

These other ones seem a lot better I'll drive it over some bumps that makes it rub soon enough

Based on trap speed of 106 and weight of 4500 which I just guesstimated based on me and the curb weight calculation says 418hp

This thing is a torque monster though it's gotta be over 500 when it upshifts it just takes off you can feel it pull harder

Sounds like around 400 I'm pretty happy with it

Lol I could just turn up the boost and tell the plenum gasket to man up

There is a intake that is 700 that basically is a modified rpm air gap with fuel injector bosses

Also there is a 300 plenum kit that put a thick piece of metal there instead of that thin shit from factory

Id hate to spend money on that kegger intake tho

Id rather jb weld a piece of metal there lol

Also... I need slicks or something unless it wants to be a highway queen

Yassssss queen
